founded in the summer of 1992 in the mountains surrounding salzburg, lawine torrèn is a network of dancers, actors, media-artists, and technicians working in co-operation with their artistic director: hubert lepka.

lawine torrèn turns existing places into stages for its dramatic art which lies outside traditional formal categories. dance, theatre, medial art, machines and music combine with alpine techniques to create extraordinarily fine and breathtakingly spectacular performances.
