(Please hit the HQ button!) Frank Noonan, Oct 2008, performs the solo, "(Won't You Come Home) Bill Bailey", published in 1902.
It is commonly referred to as simply Bill Bailey. Its words and music were written by Hughie Cannon (1877 - 1912), an American songwriter and pianist. It is still a standard with Dixieland and Traditional Jazz bands.
Among the artists who have covered the song are Louis Armstrong Kid Ory Patsy Cline Bobby Darin Brenda Lee Ella Fitzgerald Phish Danny Barker Michael Bublé Renee Olstead and thousands of others.
That's marvelous! Me and a friend of mine who plays the saxophone are trying to put a few songs together, this one included. Great job!

Excellent. I've been asked to play this at a funeral on Wednesday if I can get hold of the manuscript! I play trombone too and I'm after a bass trumpet one day.

Thanks!
If you have a midi program or band in a box, you should be able to find this on the internet.
