Most Alinsky "Rules for Radicals" concepts and tactics are modernized directly from Marx's "Communist Manifesto" concepts and tactics.

@Call2Reason Go Ron Paul... a man of peace and truth! Unlike Alinsky!

@DavidHillI Completely WRONG! And stated perfectly by someone who wants it - so badly - to be true. Saul was AGAINST the "middle class" system. He wanted only ONE class - the entitled. The problem with that scenario - as with all Socialist ideals - is that someone has to be left "in charge" of the resources. Who? Well, of course - the "benevolent" government. It is - quite simply "Animal Farm". And generation-after-generation manages to convince themselves that "these pigs are different".

@DavidHillI NO ONE would dedicate a book to Lucifer even as a joke and saul alinsky was a communist and is a dirt bag to say the least ! and dems love him HELL BALWIN IS A DEM AND A DIRT BAG

Saul Alinsky was a dedicated Marxist - Leninist and taught his followers in this mindset. Saul, like Marx was an unethical, immoral and an evil man and dedicated some of his writings to Lucifer! Obama was one of his students.

"Too bad this asshole didn't die earlier" - ditto baldwin

@ZmanHot because the poor usually do not have the same resources to search out and acquire information like the other socio economic groups. They are less pandered to and would be ignored completely if not for someone organizing them. It is more about improving their lot than voting. But they need lobbyists more than community organizers. Works well for the rich
-
I don't understand; why do you need someone else to organize your asses to go to the polls? Why can't the poor just go an vote themselves? If it's due to not having a residency, then having community organizers isn't going to do anything for you anyways.

Too bad this asshole didn't die earlier, but I'll take 63........
Saul Alinsky wasn't a religious man. He found any extremist ideology abhorrent. That's why he was neither a self-professed "christian" nor was he ever a Communist. That said, he dedicates his book to Lucifer only because he looks at lucifer as a character to be looked at as the mythological prototype for dissent & rebellion. Without rebellion, the USA wouldn't exist! He was not in favor of taking away individual rights. That's just paranoid fantasy. "Free Enterprise" has never existed in the USA

@Corporations8MyBaby:
Yes, it IS the fault of the "1 institution that has the power to regulate and restrain their greed", and if you weren't such a willfully ignorant economic illiterate and had an understanding of things like trade barriers and incentive structures, you would have known how and why.
And since greed is a human emotion, no government in the world can EVER restrain it, as history has consistently and invariably demonstrated. So instead of trying to fight against it...
