Mr. Colson says the seven months he served in prison opened his eyes to the corruption of the American prison system and he has since dedicated his life to bring justice to this system. Americans should always seek justice for their fellow citizens, but where, he asks, is the justice and decency in a society where religion cannot influence for the betterment of human beings? Christians have done this in civil society since the time of Christ and it is the Christian obligation to continue to seek justice. It is almost self-refuting to say that religion should have no place in politics or government because human beings are irresistibly religious and political. The two cannot be compartmentalized.

  • "Cory", dude get a life! I wish you could talk to the hundred and thousands of prisoners served by Colson, and truly listen to the hope that they have received in and out of prison thru Colson's life and service. Let me ask you--what have YOU done to give hope to these prisoners??? it's easy to accuse Colson a liar--i can accuse you a liar! But what does that prove? Nothing. Colson's life after prison demonstrates the depth and solidity of his life. Your comments shows how superficial you are!

  • "Cory" is another YouTube teen, posing as an adult & making up a lot of crap about people who knows nothing about.

  • I thank God for this man who will stand up for the truth even when people may not like what he has to say!

  • Wow another con artist trying to help us with our lives, suckers, listen to this!

  • i like Chuck's story and enjoyed his books. its encouraging to see salvation amongst the political circles, where it is dearly needed.

  • Whatever.

Greasy Chuck Colson was caught breaking the law with a lot of other unscrupulous people, over 30 years ago. He then changed his lies and began telling those new lies behind bars, to new people. "Studies" do not show that 93% of inmates are miraculously healed. It shows that others in his position will switch crime for another, unhealthy addiction. Maybe like you. Gullible criminals, the lot.

I wish we had more liars like him -- in jail.

  • Whatever...

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

Mr. Colson started a prison ministry over 30 years ago that has not only brought the gospel of Christ to hundreds of thousands of prisoners all around the world, it has affected the lives of millions OUTSIDE the prison walls. Studies have shown that 93%(!) of those inmates that have gone through his programs never return to prison; contrast it with secular programs that have a success rate of under 1/3.

I wish we had more 'liars' like him.

  • Have I? Some of them.

Important to note something here though -- he is a liar, has lied about HUGE things, and took the easy way out when caught.

I try not to look to liars when they find the invisible in my search for truth.

Keep that bar low, john. That way you can always haul your delusions over it.

  • Have you read Colson's books, Cory? His first one, 'Born-Again,' which goes into detail about his conversion, what led up to it, etc.?

    It validates all I've said.

My take is that you HAVEN'T read it and that you're simply content to spread untruths (or lies, whichever term you prefer) - which is interesting coming from someone who indicated that 'truth is truth'...

  • Truth is truth. At least I can face it. Cynical? No. Skeptical? Yes. There is a difference, you know.

I am also glad I do not live in your neighborhood and have to deal with you knocking on my door to attempt to brainwash me.
