i Know,but it started becoming more about 12-15 year old cute high pitched girls this year,instead of singers like Lida Kaori and Aya Ishiguro,Even Mari Yaguchi had a very good voice,it as a higher pitch but not really HIgh pitch. im just saying they changed around this year.

@asongforxx456 Morning Musume really is all about cuteness. In it's history most of the girls have not been great singers but they had some sort of quality like being really attractive or cute and hyperactive etc. Idols kind of work that way they are not really there to be singers more dancers and TV personalities.

most of them are all better than Rika or Tsuji,yet they were picked,its like it was almost all about cuteness,the two oldest girls would have been great for first and second gen.
