My Uncle Loyal, who we call Rocky, a paraplegic since for over 60 yrs purchased Oregon acreage 45 yrs ago & took up farming. We cousins, spent summers there doing chores, riding the horse & learning to drive an old truck we could take, if we didn't go off the property. It was then I was able to observe as he lifted himself onto a tractor; drove using a stick for the clutch, etc teaching me the only limitations in life, are those we set. Bravo, Bob Coomber, Bravo, Rocky!
Way to go guys! Thank you for sharing the adventure.

Good freaking job! My first response was you were not going to make it. You proved me wrong.
I still remember the pain hiking white mountain back in 1998.
