I still thumbed this video up anyway, for at least it being open and unbiased. But, nevertheless: I really HATE listening to Assange speak (elsewhere, too) and fumble through trying to justify anything he does, even though *I* have my OWN reasons to believe he does great good.

@jninewaz Wrong. I'd say most people had one. That was the case in Norway at least. I knew nobody who didn't have a cellphone, and that includes everyone in my class at the time, as well as my grandparents who are technologically impaired.

WHAT BULLSHIT!! Not very many even had cell phones in 2001!! Texting 123 for each letter ya right!!! Sales of cell phones exploded after 911... I CLEARLY REMEMBER!! More lies on top of lies!! CNN nothing but a bunch of Zion crooks!!

Given the level of political sophistication of most Americans I am surprised that they have not turned on wikileaks for releasing this information. That would have been par for the course. But neither has anyone much said anything about the looming intrusive reach of internal spying. I know Americans are fond of sneering(rightly) at the old USSR that claimed to be communist but was really a totalitarian dictatorship. But what is to be said of the US--with all the blarney about freedom, democracy

From the National Safety Council:
According to the CTIA-The Wireless Association2, in 2000 there were 97 million wireless subscribers and by 2009 there were 276.6 million, accounting for the rapid growth in crashes attributable to cell phone use while driving. CTIA2 also reports a rapid increase in text messaging.
In 2000, 12.2 million text messages were sent monthly and by 2009, those counts had grown to 135.2 billion.

News reports stated passengers on the hijacked planes made cell phone calls to friends and family on the ground, but experts say such technology didn't exist then. I'm concerned that no harm comes to Julian Assange, Brad Manning and other WikiLeaks people as a result of their leaking. With this government running the country, Satan can take a vacation. WikiLeaks is a godsend.

1st off, in 2001 cell phones were no where near aspopular as they are today. 2nd, in 2001 no body text messaged. Most phones you couldn't even text with. 3rd, I don't know which but several cell phone servers used the North Tower's atenna for a signal. When it fell thousands would have lost service... Let me guess people updated their facebook status from their Iphones too on 9/11

No offense America but do ye not find it sort of weird that your government track every single part of your personal lives.I mean what the fuck they collect your text messages and store them. Are ye not sort of pissed off at all.Thats not the signs of a free democracy. This sort of thing would happen in a communist state.

LOL if these text messages don't sound scripted "cnn said" ..... "its a deliberate attack"... "ny is under a terrorist attack" .... how convenient we have a war on terror. Fuck the media. i love the up to date news type text messages at the end describing whats going on outside of new york with the other hijacked planes. God people turn off your TVs. Now they claim they killed osama and conveniently lost his body. Next is the staged alien attack for one world government /watch?v=Ag44dRO8LEA
