@thedazdaryl My 1st jump was kind. Then you implied I was a coward. Then you said you "took pride in the destructive power of your words." And, "took great honor that I was trying to persuade you." I did not readily jump on you. Words convey emotion. I'm talking about making decisions in an emotional state. Like taking offense, assuming I was insulting your teacher, who I know not, nor spoke of. You got much attention because you kept at me, until recently. Review the dialogue. Bye.

@MrOhjok Thats fair enough brother of Buddhism, but sometimes people are so polite that no-one hears them, or they are polite to the point where to the original message is lost. Just look at how quickly you jumped and how much attention I have received from you for just a small amount of offence.
English has little effect without emotion. By the same token, you could have put me in my hole with "I was a practicing monk, what would you like to know?".
Peace.

@thedazdaryl Not "wrong." It's just that you spoke from a ground of emotion and feeling and not rationale. Reason. We do this. We "assume" and it creates problems/conflict. Best would have been: "Mr. Oh Jok, could you please explain your comment.." See? Polite. Respectful. Instead of challenging me...which starts a fight. No problem though. This is learning. We all must chose our words very carefully. I only wish you all that is good dazdaryl. Peace.

@MrOhjok Ok then, I am the one who is wrong.

@thedazdaryl You "felt" I insulted, etc. You created that, with what Zen calls, "thinking mind." How do you know I am intent on insulting?Do you read minds? See? I simply meant what others here said, "he is a great teacher," the last of a generation of very authentic and famous teachers. This is true. I spoke a truth. Mind makes everything, responding with emotions can create confusion and conflict. You assumed. Without knowing my intent or seeing clearly. Conflict follows.

@MrOhjok I commented on your comment because I felt you insulted the work of the venerable at my temple by saying this man is the last great monk, he is a great monk, but he is not the only one. In Buddhism we share greatness.
My words may come across sharply but I stand up for myself and remain honest about what I feel. Peace be upon.

@thedazdaryl The status quo you speak of? You tell me, you said it? I regret your brain damage..it is a terrible thing, because you come across as hostile but it's O.K. I wish you well.

@MrOhjok please monk, tell me of the changes, I assure you I am a buddhist.
Ven.Ajahn Chah is most calm and peaceful monk I've ever seen.
He seems to be very happy. His happiness must resulted from practicing buddha's teaching.

There is no big or small magic with the Theravada Buddhism. Meditation is just the method to quiet the mind. The only way to think of nothing is when the body no longer has the 5 senses active. Misleading and twisting the meaning and purpose of mediation is good for some who profit from those who not know. Is my comment SPAM or TRUTH?
