Alright all you "MrMandolover"s, damn us all as the bluegrass vanguard demands the music start to function like classical music. I suggest you trade your Thile/Steffey/Hull playlists for Monroe/Wakefield/Compton. Some Rachel/McCoy/Hawkins too..... know where you come from, hear me?

I see what you mean, MrMandolover. Although listening to Thile makes me feel like in a dentist's office, it's pretty obvious that he's a great player.
But man, what's the point of only listening to perfect stuff?
Keith Moon, Keith Richards, Bob Dylan, The Ramones, The Shaggs! Do you think you can disprove all these people and their contributions just because they're a little sloppy?

I enjoy the way Mike attacks the melody without pretentious embellishment, smart-arse showing off or big-noting. He plays the way I aspire to play. His style is the mandolin benchmark for my money!

Been looking for this tune for some time! Cool! And MrMandolover is certified ignorant. He doesn't even know who he was ridiculing. Monroe is on youtube doing this too. Thanks, Mike from a guitar picker who's picked up the mando. Love it.
