Elliott Bay Recording Company is a large 2,200 sq. foot recording facility in Seattle, WA. Owner/Producer/Engineer Scott Ross has over 20 years experience in the music industry, 10 in Los Angeles and 13 in Seattle. He has recorded over 500 records, 8 of which have been certified gold. The studio has a large control room (19'X23'X11'), a huge playing room (23'X45'X13'), a large isolation room (19'X23'X11'), two smaller isolation rooms, a large microphone selection, a pro tools HD system and a Sony DMX-R100 console.
The studio is located just 5 minutes from downtown Seattle in the Capitol Hill district.

Hey,
The Sony is a great console, but there were plans to have it work/control pro tools, but it never got implemented. They actually have the whole setup to the bottom right of the console, it looks pretty, but it does nothing!! It's no big deal though. I use the console more like an "analog" console, and do all the mixing in protools, and just use the faders/matrix etc. Great preamps in the console, but I do use my neve 1066 modules for overdubing. Great a/d conversion too.
