ok one the acacia strain and emmure used to sound kinda similar, TAS was out first. none of that is that big a deal. listen to the new TAS cd and if you ever think about comparing them again put the tie a bungee cord to your dick and jump of a bridge.

Yeah, true. I just stopped giving Emmure the benefit of the doubt after however many songs, though. and yeah, I get what you mean.

im definately not saying its ok to steal riffs, im just saying a guitar only has 144 regular notes available, not including chords...someones bound to hit the same note at sme point as someone else...it is bullshit though that our species is starting to suck.

I agree that a lot of the bands in metalcore and deathcore don't offer that much innovation, but that doesn't mean you have to steal riffs.
