Ampeg BA 600. Tested by Jaxsn, Now we bass players can hear it

DO NOT BUY THIS AMP. I played it for about 1 month. It's
not worth the $1000, not even $500.

The sound is great.
The weight is light.

BUT..........
When I plug certain Audio cables and set this amp with
some deep bass on the EQ, the vibration from the amp
makes the audio cable pop out.
it's unprofessional and embarrassing during a concert,
no sound!!

Anyway, I got the 210 version. This was WORST.
The amp died, needed to be shut off and then on,
every time to reset this amp.
I love the ampeg sound but this China model Is NOT
an AMPEG I will play, Unless they gave me an improved
version. this is JAXSN'S 2Cents.

I would NOT recommend this amp.

I love the Ampeg sound, but this amp has issues that

need to be addressed.

Ampeg can feel free to give me an inproved version

to test, but as of yet, they have not replied to the problems about this amp.

If there is a HOT full sounding Bass Combo

that is light weight and powerful, I want to play it. this Amp has issues. I few many bass players asked my advice before getting this

combo. Less than 30 days major issues.

and Ampeg has not addressed the issues.

It sounds pretty good I just like the acoustic b200 the best. The combo it sounds so good its perfect!

I played it once and didn't like the distortion from average gig volume to high. With more power goes more distortion...

Thanks so much for the reply. Other reviews have said the same thing - it sounds great but it falls apart. The one I tried out in a store had the worst vibrational damping I've ever heard. they'll never sell it. I can't believe a company like Ampeg didn't do better testing. Sad because when it works it sounds fantastic, but a lemon is a lemon.

Hopefully "version 2.0" will be better. If something seems too good to be true it probably is I guess.

yeah, i have the 100w B115 ampeg and it gets fuzzy at the high volumes.

ampeg is Great for the half and full stacks, but their BAs need some engineering. but dont give up at all with them. Theyre a good company
