*Read the description before you get mad*
no, this is not a video of a horse running into a gate for all you sick people who want to see that. This is letting you dimbos know what happens to a horse when that happens.
This is also a way i can put the after math of my horses fail jump so people can stop asking what he hurt.
---for the people who care:
*I did not jump him over it*
My sister found him in the other pasture covered with scratches and mark, we also found skid marks a few feet infront of the gate.
sorry to disappoint off of you who wanted to see a horse run into a gate.
He never funny recovered but is now a dressage horse and loving it.

  • @horsegaldressage yep, i know what you mean, you've got to love your own retard :)

  • Looks like you guys cleaned up your wounds very well. I hate when ppl leave them without treatment then wonder why the horses are not healing and getting infections. They will do fine in the future!

  • yep!! the vets gave us some really good smelling blue stuff!! lol you cant even tell on him anymore that he tried to jump that :)

  • That's actually not bad at all, you were very lucky!

  • That looks painful for the horses.... I hope they are all healed!! I'm glad the horse is ok!

  • a horse at my yard did that, but she puncture her stomach and inch away from her heart & an inch away from her abdoman. luckily shes mad a full recovery & has recently been back out in the field :) yay for aria!

hope your horse was okay :)

  • a horse onethat at my yard, lol , and he wasonly two..when nutts with the rug on. hes ok though.

  • OUCH! Poor boy... sometimes they do the silliest things

  • Oh wow, that's a bummer! I'm glad he's better now!

My shire/saddlebred gelding RAN THROUGH a similar gate after a really bad spook (stupid dog) and completely mangled the gate. There isn't a straight section of metal on it anymore, and he never got a scratch. Go figure! :(

  • at the farm i ride at, 3 of the horses there were trained to during the winter have their owner open the gate, and they come run up to the barn so he dosn't have to pull the out from the back of the extremely large pasture and across the river. and now a few weeks ago, they just ran right through the electric fence, shocking themselves. one was already lame and started limping worse on the way to the barn, and they almost trampled me as i was taking the tack to the tack room.

  • :S

    Poor baby!!

My horse has'nt run into a gate. :S but he pulled a gate off the hinges! My 18hh baby was tied to a gate and he freaked, jumpd backwards and off came the gate! :S I swear I had a heart attack.

Then a horse i used to lease, got scared and went to go jump the solid fence and hit the post with her chest and almost went flying over the thing head first..
