I was along with alot of republicans as well. You see I live right outside Ron Paul's district and in 2008 when ike hit, everyone was lining up for fema "Ice and supplies". In 2005 i drove across country roads in louisiana and mississippi WEEKS after Katrina and Rita hit and I didn't see lines outside churches for their evening meals, they were lined up at the fema food trucks. White rural voters who hate BIG GOVERNMENT. Until they need it.

this hurricane looks much like only a torrential downpour. I haven't seen really any devestations besides flooding. Of course water is the number 1 most costly disaster. But I wonder why we aren't seeing posted bldgs destroyed. Not seeing this on youtube has the same feeling as controled media...& why I don't watch the news nor do I have tv services. How can 1 feel sorry for n1 when they refuse to use their Soul Abilties to fight this g'damnd bs!!

@tacostandballa I think that I must have hit a nerve here. I bet you were one of the people looking for hand outs. Without FEMA you would have died off. If FEMA never crosses into Vermont we would be fine. We have strong communities. Oh and RON PAUL 2012 :D

On the gulf coast we can get hit with 4 or 5ives the northeast gets hits with a tropical storm boo hoo! You northern cunts get hit with a tropical depression and the state goes to fuck. VERMONT will get FEMA help just like us southerns got 5 years ago during Katrina and Rita. FUCK ron paul

Relax because this is just chuck norris who's taking a leak, but when he has to do a number two, then you should start to run like forrest gump.

We were just in Grafton last week. What happened to the Museum? It contains so much history!

But, who cares right? It's only flooding, why don't we send 100 Million to Somalia to fight famine. I rest my case.

I grew up in Texas near Corpus Christi, Beeville if you must know, and I went through several hurricanes. I think Celia was the worst, with Beulah a close second. Those experiences by no means made this experience any less difficult. You see I live in between Grafton and Townshend, VT and it is still hard to deal with the destruction.
thanks
