What made Gia so special is that you saw a real person looking back at you when you saw her modeling photos. If you looked in her eyes, you'd see intensity, sadness, sexuality, rage...all the shadow emotions in the human race. Compared to the icy perfect blonds with the perma-grins, she was a real person mirroring what's taboo to look at. Since she was gorgeous and a brunette, it made her easier to relate to for most of the world. All that combined, she was the model we identified with the most.

I get chills when i think about her (Gia)some of the things she has said frighten me becasue I too have an exceptional daughter who doesnt get what all the fuss is about really, she is bright beautiful and loaded with carisma and very very hungry for love. Some of Gias' mothers' statements about her daughter cut waaaay too close to the bone. NOt sure if this is the clip I saw her in or am I commenting on the wrong piece. either way I hope the girl is at peace at last she had a horrendous time.
