Homeless teenager to addend State of the Union speech

A homeless teenager's remarkable achievements in a high school in New York have earned her a seat at US President Barack Obama's State of the Union address.
Samantha Garvey, who has a 3.9 grade point average, gained recognition for her work studying the effects of predators on mussels after she became a semi-finalist in the Intel Science Talent Search.
Olga, her mother, has not been able to work since she and her husband were in a car accident almost a year ago.
Cath Turner reports on the inspirational young girl's story of overcoming the odds.

People's jealousy is showing in this video. They hate so much cause they probably don't have half the success of this girl but have over 4x the privileges. I hope she does well and to all the haters, keep on hating. XP

@DimmedDiamond Last time I checked it wasn't Obama who slashed funding for public schools, student loans, or try to destroy teachers unions. Last time I checked he was the one who was spending money to help them. Last time I checked the ones who did that were Republicans who cared about a debt instead of the people across the street from them.
