He is one of the conductors I love the most. His interpretations are sooo intresting, musical and always feel right. One of the best performers of Mozart's Requiem.

I greately admire Sir Colin as a musician and person. I was so honored to work with him at Tanglewood in 1980 rehearsing Brahms 3rd Symphony. Will never forget it!

Sir Colin Davis has made so many wonderful recordings in his distinguished career. I regret that I have never seen him conduct live. I don't recall his ever conducting on the US west coast. I cherish his recordings of Sibelius with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and Berlioz and Elgar with the London Symphony Orchestra. I wish that I could personally thank him for all the joy he has brought into my life via his recordings.
