Three minutes after VIA #639 from Montreal passes, VIA #638 from Ottawa heads south. Crossing Canadian Pacific Railway's Winchester Subdivison to head south to Coteau Station and connect with Canadian National's Kingston Subdivison.
Due to the warm temperature of 25 degrees Celcius, sunkinks were possible from the heat. Track could buckle...so a slow order was issued at De Beaujeu Diamond for both railroads.
And would you believe it? Back home in Ottawa, a tornado was hitting the city as I was recording these trains on video.
It was one of those days!

Coteau Quebec is a better place. Along CN's Montreal-Toronto mainline. Just 10-15 minutes south of this railway diamond. There are two yards and many local jobs. CSX & CN have a run-through train that operates through there too. Used to be CR-CN.
