Mac OS X 10.6 WWDC Preview
Snow Leopard Stacks
Grid View

This video was created with QuickTime X's new Screen Recording feature.

I hope Apple isn't mad. This video isn't showing anything that hasn't been revealed yet.

Snow Leopard will be available in September for $29 upgrade from Leopard. ($169 full version)

** FOR INFORMATION ON OTHER THINGS ON SCREEN, SEE HERE: http://jstereo.blogspot.com/2009/06/screenshot-for-thursday-june-18th-2009.html **

  • i prefer the Leopard Grid view not in functionality but elegance, the way it opens and all the icons follow suit not just a fade-glide as in Snow Leopard, especially if you press shift and click the stack, it will pop-up in slow motion, just like in WWDC Leopard preview or was it Macworld? And the shift slo-mo thing also works with window minimizing and maximizing and Expose , just to demonstrate how S-Jobs did these effects in his OS X previews.

  • @86123maxxi The good news is that grid view is supposedly returning in Lion.

  • 1st wallpaper PLEASE!!!!

  • @hidudes1000

I can't post a link, so Google for "01771 sunset schauins land interfacelift". The image's ID number is 01771. Should be easy to find. It'll be the first hit on Google.

  • whats that you have on the right side of your screen?

  • @suchmuch96 At the time it was a custom Bowtie Bowlet I had made. I don't use it anymore for technical reasons. Bowtie Bowlet's are just transparent web pages that float over the desktop and show information about the song playing, and if you're clever, whatever else a regular web page can do.

Google for Bowtie OS X to find out info about it.

  • Put a folder into the Dock by dragging it into the right side area next to the Trash.

Then right-click the icon and set it to Grid View.
