i expect them to fucking know that there are possible linguistic sounds that do not occur in english. if they are educated they should know this. does pfizer hire uneducated morons to market their products?

@bluchismoon because it's not a different language when it very clearly follows the sound system of one specific language. more accurately, it is english-based nonsense words. nonsense words are possible combinations of sounds for a language but are not actual words with meaning. "spanglecheff" is an english nonsense word, but "vjbdwgrtigvfeghq" is an unpronounceable combination of sounds FOR ENGLISH. another language might allow that combination of sounds, but they don't say anything like that.

@somerndmguy then they shouldn't call it an "international" language because that suggests the language contains sounds heard in many languages of the world. the sounds they pronounce here are all sounds that occur in english. this is misrepresentation and they're relying on the fact that most people are idiots who don't know basic linguistics.

if it is an "international" language, then how come only sounds that occur in english are being used? how come all the consonant clusters are only ones found in english? how come the phonology and phonotactic of this "language" completely follow english and no other language?
