@anmaree That's so unbelievably true and is something these yt commenters NEVER take into account. I watched and old TOTP from 1972 the other day and it's was 90% unmitigated shit everyone's willfully forgotten about.

I find it funny how I came onto the video for an old song saying how old music is so much better than new music, but you're all trying to convert me and make me see the error in my ways. Kind of makes me chuckle. :D

@The1985Channel We're not trying to 'convert' you. It's not a religion. If you'd said you *prefer* old music to new music that would have been one thing, but you're saying it's objectively *better*, but then showing that you don't actually know that much about more recent music other than top 40 radio.

@The1985Channel Also I think maybe you're hearing the past through rose-tinted headphones? I don't know how old you are but there was a lot of crap around in the 60s/70s/80s too - it can seem to us like music was better in those days but that's because only the good stuff has stood the test of time. The rubbish has
been forgotten, just as Rebecca Black will be.
