Easter Island, Part 3 - TONGARIKI

Arfur and Shelly Visit an island that they have been wanting to see for many years. An island shrouded in mystery. An island where great heads and bodies carved in volcanic rock stand guard along the coast. Easter Island - home of the Moai.

We hit the road and head towards the very well known standing place of 15 Moai at Tongariki. Part of the way there, we see the dreaded shape of a cruise ship near to the bay. Ths can be a bad sign for us non-cruise people, as if the ship has started unloading its passengers, the tourist sights can get very, very crowded.......(we got caught out like that in St Petersburg, Russia). Not what we wanted at Tongariki......

Oh well - time to find a parking space.....
