I think that Propellerheads is doing the right thing by not letting VST plugins interfere with their software.RIP DAW's,& VST plugin's.VST's are a leach.

@meadowview15block I fully agree When i buy Reason&Record i will forget about Plugins/VST :D because Reason And Record gives your all you need right from the box ..personally for me this is the best music software.

@djomercohen you need to have reason to have the instruments. It doesnt come with record.

in fact the all in one is the future of daw if you see logic or Sonar cakewalk there's a full sample device inside and other effect, the vst or rtas was good sometimes for some effect but it's terrible for the lack of performance of latency on modeling synth and big sampling device and software issue.

I think you can throw em away cause all the last generation of reason refill is equal to east west or omisphere, take pantheon for example you ll be surprised

@KriswitchengagE You're not screwed if you have other plugins. Most "pro" apps that support VST, AU and RTAS plugins have ReWire supportt. It's so easy, even a prosumer can do it.
