I like this tradition. I think it's cool, kinda wish we do it in the US. What do all the items represent? Is there one for music or something?
Thanks. It is fun. The stack of money/bills represent wealth, yarn = long life, rice =health, pencil = studious - these are the basics. You can anything else you like. We added a mirror for fun to rep vanity, a golf ball for sports and a bible to reprent faith in God

I asked my parents what I picked but they don't remember (laugh)
how sad, but my friends and I think that I picked up a pencil since I draw and write so much
by the way, your baby is sOOO cute!
if u need a babysitter i'll be right here! (laughs) I'm joking, I doubt we live anywhere close
