Does Doug really not care when people videotape his performances? As the video pans, you can see atleast 2 other guys taping it. If he doesn't that's awesome and another reason to love him

Oh also, yes HIcks was a genius, but he was not the fucking messiah, okay. Lay off. Look, if Michael Jackson died in 1987 he would have been the greatest artist of all time. Okay.

Went to his show last night, he told everyone to pour beer on anyone that you saw videotaping-the way he set it up and everything was hilarious of course. This appears to be an older clip, since his DVD's have been out, he is probably more stringent, which makes sense. He did a two-hour show, crying laughing most of the time.

Stanhope is funny but I'm getting sick of hearing him being compared to Bill Hicks. Stanhope is NO Bill Hicks.

I don't think they are even similar.

the only real similarity is the fact that they are telling it like it is.

I hesitate to say this about anyone, but, inarticulate as he may sometimes be, Doug Stanhope is pretty much right-on all the time.

Completely agree. Religion never makes sense.

I believe my view makes much more sense:

* Matter cannot be created out of nothing, it cannot be lost, it can only change form.

However, there must have been something which was created from nothing, to explain existence.

Religion attempts to explain this through "God(s)", the "ultimate creator(s)".

I prefer to believe that "something" must have been created from nothing, but it will NEVER be explained as it is beyond human comprehension. *

This guy is funny as hell. I love when comedians poke fun of contradictions in religion.
