Lilies are beautiful flowers. They are widely grown in the UK both outdoor in the garden and indoor as potted plants or used in floral arrangements. For that reason, cats often have access to them. This is unfortunate since lilies are exceedingly toxic to cats. This video podcast outlines the various aspects associated with lily poisoning.

  • My cat is at the animal hospital right now after ingesting a lily leaf this morning. I had absolutely no idea how toxic they were to cats. This is so awful.

  • Lucky bamboo is toxic to cats when chewed or eaten. Also known as dragon tree or Dracaena sanderiana, lucky bamboo belongs to a family of toxic plants that includes Easter lilies and garden lilies.

  • :O poor cats. I have rwo bengals indoor and they sometimes nibble the house plants but luckily we have no poisonous ones and i dont keep lillys in the house... fab chanel i have learned so much xxxx
