this is their version of the song, its called "scootstrel." its more hip, so to speak.

OK, it really bothers me that this fall I will be looking to join that pipe band (only one near by) but the tempo I currently play the minstrel boy at is no where near that fast.
"The Minstrel Boy to the war is gone
In the ranks of death you will find him;" is how the lyrics to this tune begin. Clearly, the tempo they are preforming at is not fitting for the tune.

I agree with bubbapiper, the drums are playing about twice as fast as they should. Are they running to put out a fire someplace?
