  • I think I've sung along to this song every time I got in the car for the last year.

  • @cdforshee We hear the occasional tune from the boys (and girl) up here in the Great White North on university radio, mostly. Good stuff. Yes, they are rock, well maybe country-rock, but certainly not Hank Williams-type of country!! Nor Kenny Rogers. Ha, ha!!

  • Wonder why some think DBT is Nashville! Not country by any means....good stuff but no Hank III! Not comparing the two....DBT is more southern rock than country by all accounts!

  • at 1:13, what is that running around in the background? a chicken? LOL!!!

  • @Triumph100Rider It's the Truckers' song. Why would someone in Nashville need to record it?

  • @glassjaw17 I don't want 'em on the radio. Don't you know that radio and television both completely RUIN everything that is cool??

  • @badtux That's the truth.

  • Seems like a simple song, but deep, much deeper than it looks. And that's a hard, hard thing to achieve. The Truckers are there with folks like Gurf Morlix and Steve Earle as folks who can write songs that seem simple, but are deep as the ocean.

  • Nashville Top 40 Country is run by idiots. Idiots that think their demographic is full of idiots. DBT is one of the only southern sounding bands I can tolerate (I love them!!!) and it continuously blows my mind why these guys aren't dominating radio charts or record sales. However the success they HAVE achieved can be attributed to non-stop touring and never-say-die work ethic. I doubt any Nashville Star would do 170,000 miles in one year in a 15 passenger van.

  • who needs nashville, these guys and gal are stars!! check out rightous path, you'll see.
