An introduction to The Gambia, a West African country offering something for everyone, including beaches, eco-tourism sites, culinary delights, heritage travel (Roots/Alex Hayley trail), bird watching, river trips, marketplaces, and so much more. The Gambia will also host the Africa Travel Association's 35th Annual Congress from May 17-20, 2010.

  • They say Gambia has unparelered Development in West Africa THAT’S RUBBISH TAKE GHANA TO NAME BUT ONE COUNTRY IN WEST AFRICA LEADING THE WAY IN DEVELOPMENT AND DEMOCROSY. with a gouvenment police and miatary who are not corrupt

  • I think the video was commisioned and made by Estate Agents who sell houses. While in the main the basics are truthfull but the gloss is somewhat dissapointing and some of the facts are not right For instants it is claimed the tourist figures are 500,000. 2010 tuorist figures were 92000 and has and not just because of the recession it has been declining year on year for a long long time

  • @pi3rtjuh the real gambia as i see it is outside of the tourist arias :) but sure beautiful places this is. i have been there, as my husband is gambian. lived in serrekunda the sandy roads. and next time i will go and see some of the places showed there.. like the stone cirkles.. but i enjoy mostly raw real life. and i do not live in hotel ..also prefer not to :) Gambians are peaceful people.. and i have never felt so much peace as when there.

  • been there once when i was only 14. Im now 20 and i rly hope i can get enough money to go there again.. greetings from finland
