Nice. I think everyone who cardweaves wants to use the ram's horn pattern.

@icekat83 Yeah, I was using hemp yarn, it had a nasty habit of sticking to itself. Very tough, but pretty rough, didn't weave well. Sliding the cards back and forth separated out the lines.

That was way cool to watch :)

Why do you slide the cards down and then up again? Does it smooth the threads or something?

oh wow :) now this looks tricky? to me?

AWESOME!!

That is wonderful. Seems easy for you maybe, but this is tons of confusing. Impressive you got it figured it out. Thanks for sharing.

What inkle loom are you using? Is it an Ashford? Do you have an opinion on the Gilmore inkle loom with the heddle tower for card weaving? I'm puzzling over which loom to buy, primarily for card weaving. Any advice would be much appreciated.

that is so cool! i've never seen card weaving before. thanks!
Can you tell me why you separate the 2 groups of cards since you turn them the same way. Where can I get this pattern? Thanks

The smaller, upper group alternates. The lower packs of cards always turn the same direction, but the upper packs switch from forward to backward rotation every four turns. The video portion shown just happens to be during a period where all the packs turn forward.I keep them separate at all times, because I'd rather not dig out the alternating packs every time it's due for a reversal.
The pattern was found in Candace Crockett's book 'Card Weaving', which is an excellent buy.
