The 3rd quarter performance of Baba Yetu at Eden Prairie High School.

Student conductor: Jonathan Liu
Vocal soloists: Jo Robison, Arnel Lungay, Taylor Bothun

We hit some rough spots here and there, but hey...not bad for 4 full rehearsals roughly 15 minutes each. Haha.

This performance is based on the version of Baba Yetu in Christopher Tin's CD, 'Calling All Dawns,' so there are a few minor differences from the video game version.

  • at the climax i couldn't keep the smile off my face as i played!

  • Amazing! Outstanding work, especially since it was from a high school. My high school isn't nearly as good as what this one produces. Great job!

  • im in love with this song . the band , choir , and orchestra all performed this at our concert and is was EPIC! (:

  • Epic :)

  • this was amazing to hear. I was kinda bummed that this was the quarter I decided not to do full orchestra...

  • that was really clever of you guys to find the music for that song! this is two of my favorite things: CC and civ. favorited.

  • We did amazing! I am so proud of this performance. I remember getting goosebumps and just smiling at the climax of the piece, espescially at 1:50! I thought the orchestra came out exactly where they were supposed, and came back where we needed them to come back. :)
