@leblinski That box contains a bomb, not an item. One is not required to break bomb boxes in an all-item run, as they cannot be picked up, nor do they add to score in any way. I skip a bomb box as early as 30 seconds into the run.

@DariusFisback Tool-assisted means when someone is playing on an emulator, they play through the game with the use of save states and slow downs. They also often take advantage of glitches in the emulators. There are videos on here about how to make a tool-assisted speed run. If you watch them, you can get a better idea on what exactly they are.
