Chu Sung Hoon (AKA Akiyama) actually competed in judo as a Korean national but due to internal politics within the Korean Judo federation, he felt that he was being held back because he didn't come from a prestigious University in Korea.
And to play for the Japanese judo team he had to switch his nationality to Japanese.
He was BORN a Korean national because being born in Japan does NOT automatically make you a Japanese citizen.

Nuno Delgado had won the -81 bronze medal in Sydney olympics... He has tall legs, it aint easy to do a Koshi-Uchi-Mata on him....but thats what makes judo so beautiful... you never know whats gonna happen,who's gonna win..
