@talagp - Yes, you could be right, it's just that looks like a heavy IBM thinkpad. And the fashion looks from the nineties, and the video quality looks like it has a lost a few generations dubbing from analog to analog.
Maybe it is optimistic friendly talk? as in... "Are you coming to the Olympics, Our city is the front runner and we have such great pride for such things."

@MrKappaBeta It can't be from the nineties, she asked him if he was coming to the Beijing Olympics. Beijing was awarded the 2008 Games on July 13, 2001.

that is sooo what i need i love to travel and im not going to learn a language for a country i'm only going to be in for a week or two and then never speak again and i'm really not intrested in learing 20+/- languages anyway is there a good simple (hand held) system like this on the market? if any one knows of one please let me know. i've been looking at alot of translators but most are slow and you could'nt really have a full conversation with a complicated phrase builder. thanks.

@THEARMEDLIFE Sorry, I don't know if this is available commercially yet. I only know that the U.S. military is already using it, and that Google is developing one too.
