The purpose of a Congressman (according to the Constitution) is to represent the interests of the voters in their district. They are not decision makers, they are messengers. For a Congressman to vote on something that no one (either the voters or himself) has read undermines the entire system this Country is run on.

I think that is why people are most upset; they don't feel as though they are being faithfully represented.

The person who wrote the text scrolling on this video would do well to read the writings of Washington (George, that is), Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin... (the men whose ideas shaped our constitution) and learn what they had to say about personal accountability, less government, and moral character. They disagreed on many points, but put those differences aside, worked together and focused on what was best for our country. Name calling never solved anything.

Church loves charities! Poverty is not a problem, it is an establishment for them. Take a look those in third world countries. They won't make the problem solvable.
