Weekend trip to TaiShan in Shandong.

TaiShan / Mount Tai (Chinese: 泰山) is a mountain of historical and cultural significance located north of the city of Tai'an, in Shandong Province, China. The tallest peak is Jade Emperor Peak which is commonly reported as 1545 metres (5069 feet) tall.
Mount Tai is one of the "Five Sacred Mountains of Taoism". It is associated with sunrise, birth, and renewal, and is often regarded the foremost of the five. The temples on its slopes have been a destination for pilgrims for 3,000 years.
In total, there are 22 temples, 97 ruins, 819 stone tablets, and 1,018 cliff-side and stone inscriptions located on Mount Tai. A flight of 6,600 steps (that number is disputed depending on who is counting and where they started, but it really doesn't matter) lead up the East Peak of Mount Tai, along its course, there are 11 gates, 14 archways, 14 kiosks, and 4 pavilions.

  • I climbed Tai Shan back in 2003. It was awesome! Have you guys climbed Hua Shan or any other sacred mountains?

  • @XarxesB I wanted to climb Emei Shan, but got sick with flu the day before, so that got cancelled. Hua Shan was rained out. I didnt have too much luck with them mountains...

  • So sad There are people in this world without respect for other religions. They say, you can not film and photograph there.

So why do you have to behave like an animal?

    I hope next time ...

Someone will show you where the fish pisses. and Kick your ass

  • @pabio So sad I didn't notice your message till now. Shut your mouth when you talk to me. Religion is poison and nothing to respect. Go have a fucking prayer circle now. Turd.

  • yo guys i FREAKING LOVE YOUR VIDEOS of china reminds me of my trip 07' in china. miss it badly. so how do u find china?

  • Hey! Thanks! China is great. There is a lot of good and bad here, the good being interesting sights, rich culture, loads of adventure around every corner. The bad stuff are the hassles for tickets and hotels, and random suprises. But then adventure is what both of us wanted, so here we are.

A lot of people come to China, get a bit pissed off, and leave. Then they miss it and come back... Hahahah! It's addictive.

Haha we only went up all the way once though, the climb took us pretty much half a day. Good views at the top too. Hope you had fun!
