All very good suggestions and completely plausible if the human race were not so inherently lazy. Then, there is the huge 800 lb. gorilla in the room, children. Population control, specifically in America, is of the utmost importance to conserve energy and resources and ultimately restore the Earth. However, I don't see that going over too well with the predominantly "Chrisitian nation" that boasts shows like "Jon and Kate Plus 8."
Hydrogen will be the future, and we will use nuclear powerplants to produce it. Thorium powered powerplants for to produce hydrogen is also a sollution..but we also need to take that from the earth as we did with the oil...but we need to switch over to new energy sources quick..we got maybe 20 years left of oil. But the problem is again,we don't have enough plotunium and Thorium for to produce enough for the worlds demand for more than 100 years, it's looking dark for our lifestyle we have now
Good, but Hydrogen is definetly not the future, you should read Plan C, by Pat Murphy of New Society Publishers. New Society Publishers has a number of amazing books that address the issues, global warming and peak oil. One amazing book iis A Nation of Farmers, Another which I have just started reading is Depletion and Abundance.
Hydrogen is not the answer sorry. There is no energy replacement that will come near oil. We are just going to have to live on less energy and grow our own food and take care of ourselves and our famalies locally.
hemp. it was the original fuel for the diesel engine. the reason it and alcohol were prohibited were because of it's fuel capabilities. Before the alchol prohibition you could fill your car with it, that's why moonshine was really done away with, it was made for fuel more than for drinking. Though there was a lot of drinking of it! lol Hemp became illegal once technology made it's harvesting on a mass scale a minor physical task. Oil can be pretty much done away with with both of these fuels.
