Here's a little flourish I like to do for fun once in a while. It's a little difficult, so it's mainly directed at move monkeys or you crazy flourishers out there! =D

Note: I was told that this is very similar to the Jones Change. Please do know that I did not copy it, as I don't know how that change is done exactly, as I did not bother to learn it.

This is also not the Stuart Gordon Flourish by Yoann (FleGz); I have purchased his Stuart Gordon Flourish in his "3 Moves" video download and it wasn't for me, which made me come up with this.

Enjoy! =)

  • @liamacig I have purchased Yoann's SG flourish before, and his method wasn't for me, which is why I made my own. Please confirm the similarities of the move before you claim something blatantly.

  • @DEFThands08 exactly! Its the Jones change without the change. Besides how is that "very, very difficult" ? Are you familiar with the sybil? the leno cut? madonna-style cuts?

  • i've spent a lot of hours getting this and now i can do it relatively well, can't wait till i have it perfectly and can use it in performance

  • wow this is so hard, i'm only just starting to get into flourishing but i feel this could really complement my double lifts so i'm not giving up yet

  • Nice move. By two little 'accents' I'm approaching a 100% succesful execution of this. The hardest part is letting the cards fall in perfect rotation. By momentarily bending the cards between the middle finger and palm (in video at 2:10) the cards stick together better. The second help is to not only drop the cards but also give them a gentle push inward at the bottom edge with the middle finger as you let go.

  • albert this is the method of the jones change i think but only the beginning (:

  • Awsome! Keep on making good tutorials!

  • What if my hand is too small to even perform the very first part of the first twirl? 1:12

  • hey i've made up that same exact double, if i knew people would of liked it this much, i would of posted it :/

  • very nice :o

  • I believe that you came up with this by yourself, but I'll admit. The motions are very much like the Jones Change - however the timing is different in your version. Thanks for sharing this - I also have a double based on stuart gordon up =)
