This was his fourth offence!!! And he travels extensively internationally. Our officials let him go earlier, but this time they were waiting for him after a tip-off. I guessits all about the lure of the lucre!!

Anyway, to err is human. And we are not going to talk about it anymore... lets wait for him to catch his breath and then belt out...

@meghamalhar08 dude first thing, theres no tip-off when an artist comes from abroad and performs in concerts and signs for songs n commercials etc.. Even a kid can say that they return with huge money.. so just a whats just a common-sense thing for us thats a tip for you :-)) what do u think others singers do who go from Pak to India? Atif Aslam, Shafqat Amanat, Najam Shiraz, Strings they all return with lots of money. This is no offence even. The mistake is "not to inform" the officials.

Oh...its a big deal allright......huge infact, his interview in Crossfire shows it ...he can barely speak, ...it has shattered his confidence...Now we can only wait and watch. and maybe other pak-artists will get mileage out of it. He has come undone,... And by the way, what do you mean next time he will inform the govt of nothing? He will be always under their radar.

@meghamalhar08 everyone of us is speeachless when under a cloud..but its over now man.. things are back to normal and hes ready to goto India next flight as he said in media yesterday "agar koi izzat say bulata hay to main kiyon nahi jaon?" Thing is he din know a trivial rule that everyone has to inform local govt before departure in case of carrying a huge amount and thats all.. so no fault of people who called him..nothing like Radar cuz celebrities are always watched closely everywhere..chill

`Dr Bukhari, its indeed sublime, and Rahat is just so mellow, almost brings tears to ones eyes. But what has he gone and done? All his hard work here which led to his meteoric rise and just when his career had peaked in bollywood, ....this!! Goodness, I felt so sorry for him, when I saw his downcast eyes, being ushered to the DRI, held by an escort, I sincerely hope he bounces back, we dont wanna lose him! Your thoughts?

@meghamalhar08 not big deal..99.9% artists from indo-pak travel with huge money under their belt and no one informs any state department about it..nor the air-port people take any notice of the celebrities having money..Obviously Rahat didnt won it in a casino in India. He earned it by his shows n contracts. He shud've been simply overlooked by officers on air-port cuz sadly rules for elites are different than norm class everywhere. Next time he'll inform indian govt nothing more happening :-)
