Are women discriminated against in the workplace? Looking at the data, women on average earn an annual wage that is approximately 75% that of men, which many people believe is the result of discrimination. However, when Prof. Steve Horwitz analyzes the data more closely, he finds that women make certain choices, such as career selection and raising children, which tend to result in lower wages than men. These choices could be the result of personal preferences or sexist cultural expectations for women's work, though the relative influence of these two factors remains unclear.

Men are also far more likely to work dangerous jobs which pay more. Men die 5 times more on the job than women and NOBODY talks about making that MORE IMPORTANT gap equal.

Accusing someone of deliberately taking objective evidence and then saying do some research because they are wrong is not an argument it is a surrender.

If women did the same exact work as men the employer only had to pay them 75% everyone would hire women because the same work gets done and you save 25%.

No, what were/was the SPECIFIC statistical sample(s) that you were speaking of. Single women with no kids is not a sample group. It is a demographic label.

We are talking about jobs that involve your mind. They perform at the same pace and strength in that category. What is your problem with equality?

Women are also more likely to choose quality of life within a career. Whereas men are more likely to choose quantity of money within a career. Women are also less likely to negotiate higher salaries than men within the same job. Men on average also work more overtime than women do on average.

Why do we have to recruit women into education for career fields they do not want to do naturally? Diversity and equality mean celebrating differences and treating everyone equal, not social pressure.
