  • I'm not gonna say that Fleet Foxes destroy Mumford and Sons, but Fleet Foxes destroy Mumford and Sons

  • Fleet Foxes, you are my road trip playlist. I hear your music going down the road and I feel like I'm going to cry sometimes, because it makes me so happy to feel so at peace. I don't believe in a heaven or a hell, but I feel like I'm in heaven when I hear your beautiful voices and instruments. Thank you for being around in my lifetime.

I hope you have REALLY great success, because your music is beautiful and really hard to not appreciate! Please keep making new music for me and the rest of us.

  • @TheLebowski5 On 'gaining fame' that is merely a perception of yours, they gain fame as inadvertant side-effect to being GOOD. Personally, while I understand your point, I try not to compare - but, Fleet Foxes have 2 albums, 1 more than M&S.

  • @iThinkThereforeiCan I believe that there are parallels between the 2 and a comparison is warranted. Both gained recognition relatively around the same time. Both make folk or folk inspired music in a time which that particular style of music is not widely celebrated in the mainstream however both have garnered a national or international fanbase. And I believe that FF not only make the higher quality of music but seem to be focused on that quality of music and not preoccupied with gaining fame

  • @crazylatingirl94 this, my friend.

  • @crazylatingirl94 EXACTLY.

  • @Bubblesv2 I completely agree. Everytime I listen to Fleet Foxes, and especially in my car, I feel peace, joy, inspiration, wonder, all these happy feelings. Their music makes me reflect on past experiences, the good times and the bad. I cannot describe what their music does me, but I can only say that it makes me grateful to be alive and breathing and know that there is good in the world.

  • @TheLebowski5 I haven't heard mumford and sons... I shall, and I hope they are good... But it's really hard to beat helpnessless bules

  • So I just was told that Fleet Foxes was apparently nominated for a Grammy but DIDN'T win...

music legends that never won a grammy:

The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, The Who.....

    Just to name a few.

So in conclusion, most of the people that vote for the Grammy's wouldn't know good music if it bit them in the ass. But then again what can you expect from a world where the cast of “Glee” has had more songs chart than the Beatles?...

    ¯\(ツ)/¯

  • @TheLebowski5 man just shut up, both are the shit. and i cant wait to find other bands just like these and enjoy them too

  • It's music like this that makes you wonder what the hell you'd been listening to your whole life up until you discovered it.

  • @Bubblesv2 mate what a lovely comment . its nice to know there are still genuinely nice people out there especially when you can be anonymous ( we all know how easy it is to be a dick head when you are unknown) anyhow peace bro x
