@WhiteSTiLtd so if you take the oil cap off and it blows air out that is blow by? I have a 2.4 4 cylinder galant that happens on and I'm also getting a slapping valve now.
Could be your valve guide seals. Located at the top of the engine and the first ones to go bad when oil is low. Cheaper and easier than rings. They will mimic blowby.
Your PCV system is likely plugged. Replace it. All of it. There's a breather box on the side of the block, some hoses, and some valves. There's also a 3 way valve (VW calls it a suction pump) that should be replaced. One of the connectors on it comes out sort of in the middle of the valve and off at an angle, so the whole valve ends up being shaped like a deformed Y.
This is a common problem on that engine, and stems from the fact that the PCV system is extremely poorly designed.
means you engines becoming tired....i have a 1999 nissan skyline and its got no air comming out...comes down to how well its been serviced.

@beluga420 even a pice of crap bmw will have the same problem... and it`s not blow by gases... just the air shock from the moving pistons
