Imagine sitting by a roaring fire on a night when the north wind's keen. Now imagine being out on a lifeboat heading into the wind-whipped waves. Wouldn't you be glad of something to lock in the heat? That's exactly what these RNLI-issue thermal suits are guaranteed to do. Thick-piled polyester fleece on the inside, and heavy-gauge polyester with extra waterproofing on the outside. Sandra Delday from Loch Ness Lifeboat Station tells us more.
