Lucky S Michaels, Homeless Youth Advocate Interview

Lucky S Michaels works tirelessly to bring services and support to runaway and homeless LGBTQI2 youth. She has founded the Powers Initiative; which provides global support for and the agencies that serve them. She has experienced poverty, abuse and struggled to survive on the streets as a homeless youth. She eventually helped form Sylvia's Place, the first shelter for runaway and homeless LGBTQI2 youth and is now an award winning author, serves on many humanitarian committees for health services, AIDS prevention and continues her work to bring assistance to the homeless and awareness of the overwhelming problem of runaway and homeless LGBTQI2 youth and young adults in our society.
