Wow... He looks exactly like my Border Collie... except mine is 9 years old. This is the best kind of dog, imo.

I think the owner is wanting the dog to do this. The dog is only having fun.

Does anyone else have a border collie that is obsessed with herding the ball? Mine does, and we have learned to control the obsession, but I am just curious...:)

@LottesWorld Yes this is very normal, and also be prepared for her to begain her heerding and sheparding at an early age as well, I have yet to break my Border Collie of it, and she is almost 8 years old, but she is my favorite puppy.. Like the previous person said correction now is key, what worked in my case was lightweight news paper and a slight tap on the nose area, and a firm "NO BITE".

@madfortheracket same, probably around the same time as I lost mine in 2008 from cancer too. There is literally no better breed. How old was yours?

I've got one since last week she's cute and smart.. She already give me a paw and can come and sit when I say it.. But sometimes she's hyperactive and starts biting a lot ! Is this normal when she's a puppy ?

yes, my dogs did yhat also when they were puppys. you have to correct them wen they bite you. dogs dont have to bite us!
