well! long story short, things havent been right with chip for a long time, from oct/novemeber time. He became grumpy, kicky, nappy and just not the horse i brought, we put it down to it being winter and changes etc at first but then things still werent right and went from bad to worse, one i day i couldnt walk/turn him without him bucking/rearing/leaping and just getting stressed let alone a trot or canter! so off to the vets he went to have a scope and loads of other stuff (i tell you what leaving him at the vets overnights was the hardest things i had todo!) , and they've found ulcers in his stomach, which must of been there just as i got him, and causing him alot of pain (on top of saddle problems we've recently found out) so the ponys been rather poorly and at one stage had me very very worried! So been a stresful few months, and hes on medication for a month then off for another scope to hopefully be given the all clear! I love my pony so much, spending this time with him has made me realise exactly how much he's been such a sweetie and cant wait to ride him again, hopefully he's getting a new jumping saddle! :D its wierd because the vets think the gastric ulcers were brought on by stress of him moving and hes had a few previous ones at the same time, so when hes got the all clear he should be a totally different pony, im excitied!

Have you thought about getting his back checked?

By the look of those bucks and stops, he could be in pain :\

You should still conside getting someone to check out hiss back Just to make sure nothing is out that is generally a big cause of bucking and kicking problems

@breyerfan911 we have, we did every test, and i think everyone knows if theres somethig wrong with your horse you get there teeth, back and saddle check first, so i would of done that first thankyou.

hope he gets better soon!! i no sorta wot ur going thru as my boy had loads of problems for about 6months non stop last year - lameness, abscesses, teeth problems, back/saddle problems - and he was on box rest for ages coz of this, was a complete idiot and ended up puttting him up for sale as i couldnt go near him!! just so u no that ur not on ur own! and keep telling urself there are ppl in worse situations than u out there :) anyway good luck with him! xxx
