Love Story or is it? *Chapter 16*

Recap:
Nick-"I don't hate you. I never really did."
I sat up shocked.

Me-"What did you say?" (Surprised)
Nick-"I said, I never really hated you. I just played along cause you hated me so much."
I was surprised. I wasn't expecting that answer. I didn't know what to say.
Nick-"Sorry, I didn't mean to say that." (looks down)
Me-"No, don't be sorry... so you're saying if I wasn't mean to you, we could have been friend?"
Nick-"Yeah, pretty much. Why do you hate me so much anyways?"
Me-"You're a jerk, always tease people, and a know-it-all."
Nick-"Well, am I a jerk now?" (Moves closer, devious smile)
Me-"I guess not, but I know when we go to school, you'll be totally different." (Breaks away)
Nick-"No I won't. Plus we're engaged, so you'll have to stay with me no matter what."
Me-"See, you're acting like a know-it-all again. That didn't even take 5 minutes. Just cause we're engaged doesn't mean the school has to know."
Joe-"YES THEY WILL! I'M GONNA TELL EVERYONE!"
Kevin-"JOE! SHUT UP! I'M GONNA GET THE DUCT TAPE."
Nick-"Now we know we have an audience." (Smiles)
Me-(Laughs) "See, I like this Nick better."
Joe-"AWW!"
Kevin-"UGH! I GIVE UP!"
Nick-"Can we get out? I'm hungry."

I woke up in Nick's bed again. I got up, took a shower, and got dressed for school. Somehow I wanted my dream to be true. Maybe I'm just really tired or something cause being locked in a room with only Nick is the last thing I want, usually. Kevin and Joe were making me keep my engagement ring on. I got mad at them but, I lost that fight. If I accidentally loose it, they threaten me. When I came out, Nick was still sleeping. I laughed at myself and went downstairs to eat some breakfast. After I ate breakfast, Joe gave me a ride to school. Then I remembered Nick was in all of my classes.

The bell rang so, I went to my seat. Sandy sat next to me and Angella sat on the other side. I didn't have this class with Katie.
Sandy-"What's with the ring?"
Angella-"Yeah, why won't you tell us?"
Me-"I told you, it's a purity ring."
Angella-"Its not a purity ring, purity rings don't have a huge diamond on them. Engagement and wedding rings do."
My eyes widened when Angella said "engagement." Sandy caught that and was shocked. When Angella looked at Sandy, she got confused.
Angella-"What do you guys know that I don't."
Then Sandy screamed.
Sandy-"NICK GOT YOU AN ENGAGEMENT RING?!"
I quickly covered Sandy's mouth, but I was too late. Everyone heard and was whispering everywhere. Then as if it was on cue, Nick came in. Everyone stared at Nick and back at me. He sat behind me and whispered in my ear.
Nick-"Why are they starring at us?"
Me-"Cause they found out we're engaged."
Nick-(Angry) "How did they find out?"
Me-"I don't know, maybe the fact that SANDY shouted out that I have an engagement ring from you."

After 1st period, I went to my locker and took out some books. When I closed my locker I found Nick standing there mad.
Me-(Annoyed) "What?"
Nick-(Angry) "Why didn't you wake me up this morning?"
Me-"Cause I'm not your mom."
I was about to walk way but Nick grabbed my wrist and slammed me against the lockers. I yelped in pain and surprise. I felt every eye on my. Then Nick leaned in and kissed me. I couldn't think and automatically kissed him back.
