This mission is largely about getting rid of a lot of enemies, particularly Octoombas of various sorts. Of course, that's because the Boulder Bowl Galaxy revolves around the Rock Mushroom, one of the cool new powerups in this game. Rock Mario (or Rock Luigi), instead of spinning, will gather a bunch of rocks around themselves to become a mini version of those rolling rock ball enemies. They charge forward, destroying most enemies and some tough objects. However, Rock Mario can only stop rolling if he hits a hard object, so you have to be careful where you start. That being said, you CAN steer him a little bit.

It seems the Toad Brigade has appeared here too, looking for treasure of some sort. Boulder Bowl doesn't seem like the sort of place that screams, "There's treasure here!" to me, but hey, whatever they say.

Rollodillo is the boss of the Boulder Bowl Galaxy and the only boss in the game you fight as Stone Mario. He's quickly acquired a reputation for his adorability from people who play this game, including at IGN. I also think Nintendo should manufacture plush toys of him. As for the fight itself, I think you're supposed to roll away from Rollodillo when he charges, but doing long jumps works for me and gives me better control after dodging than rolling.

@rando12 no, he was a rhino mutated by Bowser and bribed with rhino food to kill and eat Mario (and Justin Bieber). Its only natural for him to injure Mario. He does not joke around, especially since he is a 4 ton, rocky beast.
