Yoyoing is not about avoiding knots. If that was all there was to it, then everybody would be amazing at it. I don't know if we're looking at the same video, because, since I do yoyo a lot, I know for a fact that these are not very simple and don't appear to be simple at all.

forastfire202: Although I have not used a yo-yo for a long time these tricks look pretty simple. It's the knot tying principle; providing you don't cross over as you pull through the loop it won't get tangled. I could do this pretty easily, I don't know why everyone thinks it's so hard.
