"That's an interesting way of looking at it." Haha, that was so cute. Along with his little laughter which either showed his vulnerability or him genuinely not being sure if she genuinely meant it in a good way. I could be wrong, but it's still cute, nonetheless.

It was one of the few unguarded moments of Heath's. I'd interviewed him before many times, but this -- I think -- was the best. For me, anyway, because I loved the movie so much. (And yes, I really did mean "interesting" in a good way. FYI, I saw Dr. Parnassus and loved it. My review is at horrordotcom if anyone wants to read it.

I could see you enjoyed doing this interview & I could see he enjoyed it as well. Heath came off as a vulnerable man, esp. in this interview. I'm sure others would disagree but that's how I always saw him.

We don't really know for sure and I think we should keep it that way, to preserve his mystique, much like heath and Todd Haynes did with Bob Dylan.
